First founded in 1976, by Virginia Jakeman, Virginia's is the oldest health food store in Mobile. Lynnora Ash took over as owner after the store’s namesake passed away in 1993. Since then, she has been leading people to healthier lives.
In 2015, Virginia’s relocated to Midtown Mobile after spending seven years at Pinebrook Shopping Center on Airport Blvd. The store continues to stock as many local products as possible, and is also an oasis of high quality natural foods, cosmetics, soaps, skincare products, house cleaning products, organic frozen meals, a staggering selection of nutritional supplements and much more. Virginia's has been family-owned for forty years and our mission remains the same: to help people lead healthier lives and grow older more gracefully.
